Intubating fast: Rapid sequence intubation is done to minimize aspiration of gastric contents in to the lung. When we preoxygenate a patient have suction ready and give induction agent like Propofol or etomidate and musclerelaxant and succnylcholine(anectine) rapidly while cricoid pressure on neck is maintained and the intubate in 45 seconds.
