What does thimerosal do to human body?

How long thiomersal: Thiomersal does not stay in the body long enough to accmulate like other mercry and there is no build up of mercury level.So the thiomersal in the vaccines is in such small amounts and there is not much accumulation for long term to cause any harm to the children who are vaccinated with vaccines containing thiomersal in small amounts as preservatives.
