A member asked:

Is bronchial asmtha a permanent condition if you have it as a child?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Children can grow out of their asthma. There are several studies to show this to be true. The ability to grow out of asthma depends in severity, family history of asthma and how well one is protecting the lungs now from asthma episodes.
