Infected: I think you mean that HBV dna is present in your blood. That means that you are indeed infected and may, but not necessarily, require treatment. In acute hepatitis, no therapy is usually given and most people clear the infection within several months. The spectrum of chronic HBV is quite wide and may require therapy.
