Menstrual cramps: Nausea is how your brain perceives how your GI tract is functioning. If you have increased endometrial inflammation from endometriosis or miscarriage pressing on the GI tract you could experience nausea. Nsaids like Aleve (naproxen) may help. See your ob/gyn if symptoms persist.
