Can you really avoid bypass surgery with ecp / eecp?

Doubt the hype: There some theoretical reasons why ecp may be useful to relieve ischemia, but if one is seriously a candidate for coronary bypass surgery, it is likely that ecp is an option only if one wants to avoid surgery; it is not a good alternative mainstream option.
