Low vision doc: Low vision specialists can help you decide which products will help you out so you aren't wasting money trying out several products. They can also get insurances to pay for some of these aides. Often you can find them cheaper online, once you know what you need.

Www.lighthouse.org : Many low vision products are available for sale over the internet. Finding a low-vision specialist can be tricky in some parts of the country. Check out the above website and others on the internet. Some optometrists and the rare ophthalmologist is a low-vision rehabilitation specialist. First get a proper refraction of both eyes, and then try magnifiers, telescopes, etc.
