Seldom do: Many will go away on their own but it takes time (by age 4). Propranolol is a drug used that has been used to reduce their size but has risks and must be monitored. If the nevus is in a location that causes problems they can be removed with a variety of techniques.Consultation with a pediatric dermatologist may allow you to decide the best approach for your kid.
