Blepharospasm: Botox is the most common treatment for blepharospasm. If injected by a skilled physician, it is very safe and effective. Xeomin (incobotulinumtoxin a) is a similar medication that is also fda approved to treat blepharospasm. Your physician can help you decide which is best for you. Botox has been available for much longer (since 1989) and is more commonly used.
