Keep clean/dry: Athlete's foot occurs because of excessive moisture/warmth in-between the toes areas allowing the fungus to grow and cause trouble. Mild disease can resolve on its own if one is able to keep areas clean, dry; and high-heat dry out of shoes prevents recurrence. Cleansing with rubbing alcohol may help. Otc meds such as Lamisil (terbinafine) cream can help. If persistent, consult doc for an evaluation/treatment.
