Girls growth&periods: Girls normally stop growing in height about two years after they start their periods.This is average but there are exceptions.But the growth spurt stops approx 2 years after the first menstrual period.

Menses + 2.5inches: The process is a bit variable but most girls will get about 2.5 inches (5cm) taller after their first menses. Some get there quicker than others.
