Anti-platlet tx: Ticlopidine is an anti-platelet tx for prevention of TIA or recurrent stroke. Pt's that are Aspirin intolerant or allergic use this rx. It is an older rx replaced ny Plavix (clopidogrel) or Aggrenox for tia/stroke reduction.
