When you get an accidental finger amputation, how much time do you have to get it reattached?

12 - 24 hours: There is no muscle in a finger, so we have more time to reattach it. Ideally if the amputated part is kept cold, replantation will be possible for 12 to 24 hours after injury. There are reports of fingers that were not kept cold sucessfully replanted up to 24 hours.

About 12 hours: Replantation is generally not possible for fingers that have been separated from the body for more than 12 hours.
