BPA free: You can look for special products that are bpa free. There are some water bottles, and other plastic items coming out now without it. However bpa is one of the additives that make plastic strong and enduring, which is why it isn't banned... It's in most of the plastic safety equipment we use. If you want to avoid estrogenizing effects, look to household things with smells, like air fresheners.
