Normal.: In most cases, it means she's normal. During pregnancy a hormone called melanocyte stimulating hormone (msh) is produced in increased levels, which will often cause the skin to darken. (in some women, only moles darken.) after you deliver the baby, msh levels go back to normal, and over time your skin color will usually go back to normal as well.
