Yes: Daily exercise has shown to be helpful in postponing knee replacement. Daily exercise increases the strength of the hamstring and quadricep muscles which help support the knee which reduces osteoarthritis symptoms of the knee. It most liklely would be helpful in inflammatory diseases but it may not postpone knee replacement as much as the osteoarthritis.
