Normal bathing: You can use a douche periodically, but you do not want to do it very often. If you use a douche too often, you upset the balance of bacteria and yeast, and encourage malignant strains to colonize you. Normal bathing should be sufficient.

Squeaky Clean: Don't go overboard on cleaning your vagina. Don't use regular soap inside the vagina. http://www.nhs.uk/Livewell/vagina-health/Pages/keep-vagina-clean.aspx

Douching itself: Douching is not necessary to "clean" the vagina as it is like a "self cleaning oven". The more you disrupt the normal vaginal fluids that keep the ph(aciditiy/alkalinity) balance constant the more you set yourself up for serious vaginal infections or worse. So, please stop the practice.
