Once my meds for my genital herpes run out what should i do?

Use condomns: If u get frequent attacks i.E once a month or in two months or more fequent , then go on prophylectic treatment of Valtrex (valacyclovir) 1 gm per day for one year. This will reduce frequency of attacks as well make you less contagious. Always use condomns as even when there are no active lesions you may shed the virus and infect partner.
