See below: If you are certain it is yeast, using lotromin or Lamisil (terbinafine) will clear the rash. Apply twice a day until rash has resolved.

Depends: Diaper rashes have several causes, the commonest being due to infrequent changing. If there is a strong odor of ammonia, that is a clue. A yeast infection is another cause. I would advise that you see your pediatrician.
