No specific med. TMD: There is no specific medication for the treatment of tmd at this time. However, there are many protocols or therapies for the condition. One may also consult a dentist that is trained to treat tmd. At times the symptoms are related to the way your teeth bite together. If the bite is off, then that can affect the muscles of the jaw which in turn affects the joint complex with inflammation.
