No knowledge.: Have heard about magnets, but have no personal experience. Pectus carinatum (pigeon chest) can be effected without surgery using an external brace.

Pectus and magnets: Repair of pectus excavatum using magnets is currently being evaluated in a small group of patients (experimental). Keep in mind that it still requires an operation for implantation of a magnet under the sternum. Patient must use an external chest brace that contains a second magnet in order to achieve correction of the pectus.
