does losing weight help you with having a narrow face?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Cornelia Franz
Specializes in Pediatrics
Clarify: Will losing weight give you a narrow face? Not unless it was narrow to begin with. Our skulls and musculature define the shape of our head/face...Some people have oval, heart shaped, square faces. Extra weight tends to make everyone a little rounder so losing weight helps recover your natural shape.

Head size: No head size once you have grown is fixed - you may see a loss of the fat from around the neck but the head size will be the same.
