Great question!: Multiple injuries can really take a toll, and often heal slower than single injuries. Your body tries to heal everything at once, but sometimes what is needed for one injury may slow another's healing. Most important factors are good nutrition, extra rest, maintaining some activity, a positive outlook, appropriate pain control, and setting appropriate goals & expectations as a person recovers.

No: All injuries require the body to supply nutrients to support healing. The more injuries the more stress the body will experience and the longer the healing will take. The worst injuries often require supportive therapy in a hospital setting to help assure that nutrition, oxygen, and fluids are provided for the body to heal well.

No: One injury might distract from another, but the brain will be receiving plenty of signals from the rest of the body complaining about their own problems.
