A member asked:

Is a dt booster the same as diphtheria booster?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Includes diphtheria: The dt booster is for the prevention of diphtheria and tetanus. It's usually recommended every 10 years. There's a new vaccine out that also contains pertussis or whooping cough vaccine for adults. It's called tdap and it's recommended that adults get it once.
