What is chronic pancreatitis from?

Alcohol and: Pancreatic duct obstruction. Most cases of chronic pancreatitis are due to alcohol abuse. Next are cases due to gall stones and other obstructions of pancreatic duct. Other causes are cystic fibrosis and uncommon genetic defects.
