Bisacodyl: Bisacodyl is a stimulant type of laxative meant to be used for short term constipation and/or part of a prep for a procedure such as colonoscopy. In no way is this medication or similar laxatives part of a weight loss program. Unfortunately, some patients use laxatives and cause physical and emotional harm to themselves. You will not lose body fat by the use of laxatives; please consult your doc.
