I got an allergic reaction to aveeno (oatmeal) moisturizer, why?

Sensitivity?: You maybe sensitive to the "other" ingredients. Or you may be applying the moisturizer on dry skin-therefore irritating the surface. Always wet the skin with cool/tepid water-pat dry and apply the moisturizer. This "soak and seal" technique is essential for eczema/atopic dermatitis.

Dimethicone: You may be having a reaction to Dimethicone in the lotion.
