Activates immunity: It is an immune response modifier. It treats genital warts by increasing the activity of the body's immune system to fight off the wart virus. Mechanism of action for aks (precancers) not exactly known but thought to also be related to upregulating the body's immune system to fight off abnormal cells. It is used to treat aks, genitals warts, and superficial basal cell carcinoma.
