See dermatologist: It hard to say what's going on without seeing it. But if your description "blisters" is correct, how about heat rash? Is it now hot and humid there? Is baby sweat a lot? Do you let baby wear too much? That's the first thing you should consider.

Unlikely: You should have his/her pediatrician evaluate him/her, but it is not likely to be malaria.
