Different reactions: Some become angry, others confused. A woman can also lose her confidence or become depressed. She may feel tense or anxious much of the time. She may have an exaggerated response when she is startled. She may feel sad, hopeless and alone or guilty. Some become defiant and irritable, while others become passive. A woman needs to seek counseling and get support.
