Structurual abn: Patients with structrally abnormal hearts or with baseline prlonged q t intervals should not take flecanide as it may cause an irregular rythm that can be fatal.

Abnormal heart: Patients who have any abnormality in structure or function of their heart or have coronary disease should not take flecainide.
