No: No, there is no evidence for that, however, if you have bad gum disease, it is risk factor for cad.( probably from inflammation).

UNPROVEN: There has been concern regarding an infectious/inflammatory cause. However studies looking at this have not demonstrated an infectious cause. Inflammation appears to play a role but still a lot of work to be done in this area.

Probably not: Some researchers have studied chlamydophilia sp. (chlamydia) and mycoplasma sp. As possible causes of coronaryartery disease but a link has not been established.
