A doctor has provided 1 answer

Endometrial ablation: An endometrial ablation is a procedure wherein the dr. Places an instrument inside the uterus in to the uterin cavity and then uses either sound waves or heat to "burn" the endometrial lining of the uterus which is normally about 10cm thick. This helps prevent future episodes of vaginal bleeding.
