A member asked:

How do they evaluate potential living liver donors?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Exam: Liver donors are evaluated by physical and psychological exam and by blood tests and x-rays. First they must be offering the donation for the right reason and then they must be healthy enough to survive the surgery, have enough liver to spare and be a match for their recipient.
