Podiatrist: You can start by wearing over the counter arch supports, but if you are having increased pain, difficulty walking, etc you should see someone. I recommend a good podiatrist for an evaluation.

Maybe: Flat feet can be symptomatic or asymptomatic. I see patients with concerns about their arches in my practice and give them a thorough foot examination. Even if no treatment is necessary, i educate them about their feet, the problems they might encounter, and ways to prevent them. So a doctor's visit can be a valuable lesson even if you don't have any foot pain.
