Nope: Several grasses make up lemon grass. It contains citral & myrcene which have been shown to cause harmful effects in pregnancy. Although the studies have shown harmful effects only in animal studies and in very high levels of consumption, a safe level has not been established and you should avoid it in pregnancy. Your OB can provide a safe list of teas you can take in pregnancy.
