None: When catheterization goes well, there should not be any symptoms. Some patients get a soreness at the access site which should go away within hourse to days. Other bruising that shows up 24-48 hours after the procedure.

Few: The site at which the catheter is inserted (groin, wrist, or inner arm) will be sore, may be bruised, and may have a lump. These are normal and go away over a few days to a week or so. Aside from that, you should feel perfectly well.
