Nutrition: If you are having diarrhea, you should stop eating solids for at least 4 hours in order to decrease the frequency of depositions. Then start any form of rehydration such as powder formulas that can be mix with water (i.E rehydrate, pedialyte) that is far more effective that sports drinks. Start the brat diet (bananas, rice and toast) avoiding dairy products for at least 48 hours.
