Science based: Before any medication, procedure, or practice becomes accepted in main-stream medicine, it must prove to be both safe and effective via large multi-site randomized double-blind placebo-controlled studies. The scientific process must be employed to assure true objectivity, without bias. Therefore, the physicians on this site would be expected to give insight and answers that follow science.

Likely good answers: Most physicians provide information that is evidence-based, or when that is not available, based on extensive experience. There is no guarantee that information received here is valuble or true. However if several doctors agree with an answer, that answer is likely valuable and true. Read the answers to several similar questions and use your sense.
