Neuroprosthetics: Neuroprosthetics use electrical stimulation devices to “replace or assist damaged or malfunctioning neuromuscular organ systems” according to phillip muccio. They may either be worn on the body or implanted in the body. They are used to improve body function and to alleviate pain.
