Life stlye changes: Prevention of arteriosclerosis is possible but not gaurenteed. Some pts can follow a very healthy life style and still get arteriosclerosis. This so because genetics play a key role in developemennt . Also not all risk factors have been discovered yet. The following are the accepted risks.Age, gender, high cholesterol, high blood pressure , diabetes, family history, and tob.

Risk factor : By controlling the risk factors if you have any -- such as smoking, cholesterol, blood pressure etc.
