What is the healing period after a cardiac angiogram?

Depends: If a stent is placed, they'd like you to take it easy for a week or two. If not and all is well, you are good to go next day unless you are a wwf fighter, high cable walker, or a belly dancer, because your groin will be sore for a couple days.

7 days depending: From the procedure itself, healing time is primarily due to closing the little hole in your artery - typically i say 7 days no lifting heavier than 10 lbs (like a milk jug). If you have an intervention with stent placment, the mobility restriction is still there for about a week, but it can take over 1 year for the stent to completely heal in place.
