Zestoretic (lisinopril and hydrocholorthiazide) is a: Combination drug consisting of zestril (lisinopril, an ace inhibitor) & hydrochlorothiazide [hctz], a diuretic. It is used for treating hypertension & congestive heart failure that's not responding well to diuretics (or digoxin) alone. Ace inhibitors also have a protective effect on the kidneys in diabetics.
