I had gotten my depo-provera in sep. did have a cycle for 21 days then when i got it it lasted 32 days then nothin for 2 weeks now on my 19th day?

Unpredictable: The bleeding patterns with depoprovera are unpredictable. You are right that for some in takes the period away. For others it causes irregular bleeding. There is no "normal" for Depo-Provera users. The longer you are on it the higher the chance of no periods. The Mirena (levonorgestrel) iud may be a better option for you if you want to avoid pregnancy and stop having periods.

Depo: Irregular and /or prolonged bleeding go hand in hand with early Depo-Provera provera use. Depo provera (medroxyprogesterone) works in part by thinning out the lining of your uterus. That tissue and the blood associated with it come out like a prolonged and/or irregular bleeding. I'm assuming you didn't get the next injection, so a birth control pill may control your bleeding.
