Why checking?: I am not sure why the doctor would be checking your Estrogen levels especially since you are 21. If your doctor is concerned about hormone production then they would check a LH or FSH. If they are concerned about ovulation then the would check a Progesterone on day 21. Estrogen levels are generally not helpful except in very specific circumstances.
