Palpitations: Palpitations can be benign (simple skipped or extra beats) or can be a symptom of a more serious condition such as an SVT (supraventicular tachycardia). See your doctor and get an EKG done. Seek medical care urgently if you are passing out, or have episodes of a very fast heart rate (like over 140 beats/min).
