Not recommended. : The interaction of the two can cause jitteriness, rapid heart rate & more. See: drugs.com/interactions-check.php?drug_list=190-1644,2296-1524&types[]=major&types[]=minor&types[]=moderate&types[]=food. Effexor (venlafaxine) & other antidepressants can increase suicidal thoughts & actions in patients under 25-years-old, so they need to see a psychologist for therapy weekly at 1st then every 2 wks. while on them.
