Prescription: you can get a prescription for contraception in the US from any doctor, physician assistant, and many nurse practitioners. Generally you cannot get a US prescription without an office visit, and cannot get one online. Sorry, and I hope this helps.

That's true, and no: Hi. Yes, it's true that here in the US, a prescription is required to get birth control pills. But we don't provide prescriptions here on HealthTap. You will need to see a physician, or if all you need is BCPs, you can go to an excellent group, Planned Parenthood. They're fantastic and very proactive in women's health. Good luck!
