Brown discharge: If you are breast feeding without supplementing with formula, it is unlikely but possible that you could ovulate while breastfeeding, causing the brown discharge. As you know, "pulling out" is not a reliable birth control measure, as some sperm are released before orgasm in a male. The brown discharge can also come from irritation of the post partum cervix with sex, as it is very delicate.
