Watery discharge: Vaginal discharges are common at any time in the cycle, but are usually caused by a bacterial or yeast infection. The discharge from ovulation is clear, but thick and "strings out" when touched. In women in late 30's and early forties, ovulation can occur as early as day 8 or 9 after a period, and can be a cause of a clear discharge. If this continues, see your healthcare provider for tests.
